Services Provided

Roots & Reckoning, LLC provides bookkeeping and tax preparation services tailored to individuals, small businesses, and LLCs. Specific deliverables are determined by written agreement between the client and Roots & Reckoning, LLC.

We do not provide legal, investment, or financial advisory services. All services are limited to bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, and tax preparation within the scope of our professional qualifications.

Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial records and information.
   
• Maintain responsibility for your own business and financial decisions.
   
• Review all reports, tax filings, and deliverables for accuracy before submission to third parties (e.g., IRS, state tax agencies, lenders).

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Invoices are due upon receipt.
   
• Late payments may result in suspension of services.

Roots & Reckoning, LLC is not responsible for:

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the services in question.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we strive to provide accurate bookkeeping and thorough tax preparation, we cannot guarantee specific financial results, tax refunds, or savings. Compliance with all tax laws and regulations is ultimately the responsibility of the client.

Third-Party Services

Our work may involve the use of third-party tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Microsoft, secure file storage). We are not responsible for errors, outages, or issues caused by third-party software.

Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials created by Roots & Reckoning, LLC remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Fees for work performed prior to termination remain payable.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable federal law.
